The Roost Questionnaire with Cornelius Rooster
This month, we sat down with one of the creative minds behind Kellogg’s NYC, Sandra Di Capua. As a partner of Co.create NYC, the creators and operators of the Café, Sandra develops many of the delicious bowls that thousands of cereal lovers dive into, spoon in hand.
With which living person would you most want to share a bowl of cereal?
Cardi B! She’s a known cereal lover and I’d love to know where she gets her creative inspo. Okurrrrrrrrrr!
If you were Snap, Crackle, or Pop, which would you be?
Snap! (Note: she actually answered with a snap of the fingers)
What are you most excited for in the coming months?
The Girl Scouts of New York Troop 6000 cookie sale! It’s happening right now, as you read this. Troop 6000 is a troop made up entirely of young girls living in the New York City shelter system. Last year, we hosted their first ever cookie sale. It was insane! The girls had a very ambitious goal of selling 6000 boxes in a week– most booths sell 600. We sold over 35,000! Our community really showed up.
What’s your favorite board game?
Boggle. It’s just like Wordscapes but IRL.
At what time do you wake up in the morning?
7am to the sounds of a chatty 1 year-old.
So, I’m guessing no snooze buttons?
Nobody’s got time for that. I don’t even have an alarm clock set. She’s very consistent.
When do you first check your phone?
Hard glance right away to see what time it is but don’t dive into work or details until I start my walk to work.
What’s your go-to everyday Kellogg’s cereal?
Love, love, love, Raisin Bran.
What kind of milk do you use in your cereal?
Whole but starting to get into oat milk.
